YES: The big wheels gadget seems to make many of the cars a little bouncier, which takes a bit of time to get used to in regards to landing your flips etc. "Drive with style! Pumps more air in the tires" Keep it in reserve for when the Horde is right on your cash grinding tail! It is useful when you are grinding for Brain Coins however, as you don't want to be automatically boosting past zombies and missing the chance to maximize your earning potential. Of course this would need to be able to be swapped for left handed people etc. It would be much better if the activation button was just above the left tilting button and the weapon firing button was just above the right tilting button. I had very high hopes for this gadget and it is useful, but I'm a little disappointed with how uncomfortable and distracting it is to have to activate it. NO: Having to take your fingers away from the main playing position to activate the boost at the top of the screen, especially on a big device like an iPad is a real pain in the 'horde'. YES: It can be used strategically to get away from the zombie horde when you're in a bit of trouble. That is unless you are grinding for Brain Coins, then it is actually reasonably useful. If you've already spent a bit of time playing the game and have at least the Goofault Rifle fully upgraded this will be of little benefit to you. If you're just starting out playing Zombie Road Trip the Zombie Indicator might help you to get into the rhythm of the game. NO: You know there is an endless line of zombies ahead of you and it takes very little time playing the game to get into the flow of when and where they will appear anyway. YES: The zombie indicator shows you when and where the next zombie(s) will appear so if you're struggling to progress very far with weapons that aren't fully upgraded, then this might be of use to you. Personally I'd prefer a gadget that played Black Metal. I tried it once and thought it was terrible but that's just my opinion. YES: If dubstep music is your thing then you're sure to enjoy it (perhaps).ĭepends on your taste in music I suppose. This is a very useful gadget when you're grinding for Brain Coins, or are going for Highest Scores and Longest Distance records and is definitely worth the effort to earn enough cash to purchase and equip. NO: Besides looking somewhat cool, it doesn't really 'do' anything. This is especially important if you are using any weapon that hasn't been fully upgraded yet, but it is a perfect accompaniment to the fully upgraded Railgun. YES: It takes a little bit of time to get used to this but it basically allows you to dramatically increase the accuracy of your shots. The first (non-gadgeted) bird usually shows up at around the 3,500m mark and if you're not regularly making it past this point anyway then you need a lot more help than one extra lottery ticket. NO: I regularly shoot down over 30 lottery birds (my best is 56) and earn over 25,000 coins (my current best is 41,830 coins), so the bird on sight gadget is of little advantage to me.ĭon't bother with this one unless you have a spare gadget slot that you aren't using. YES: If you're not regularly progressing very far in the game or are struggling to earn enough brain coins, the bird on sight gadget might be of use to you in getting some easy money. "Adds an extra bird on your starting position." NO: This gadget is purely for entertainment purposes only. YES: Take yourself back to the Atari and/or Commodore 64 game tunes days!
